Five Germans Set for Tuesday Action
Tuesday at the BOSS OPEN will have a strong German flavor, with five home players competing in the singles draw and looking to make their mark on the courts of the TC Weissenhof.
Yannick Hanfmann will kick off the action on the Centre Court against American Aleksandar Kovacevic. He will be followed by crowd favorite Jan-Lennard Struff, who takes on Canadian qualifier Alexis Galarneau.
Not before 3 pm, Daniel Altmaier enters the spotlight. The German will face sixth seed Frances Tiafoe of the United States, who lifted the BOSS OPEN trophy in 2023. The encounter promises plenty of attacking tennis and is one of the standout matches of the day.
The Centre Court program concludes with the highly anticipated clash between Nick Kyrgios and Corentin Moutet. Two of the ATP Tour’s most colorful and unpredictable personalities will meet for the first time in Stuttgart. The match is scheduled to start not before 5 pm.
German players will also be in action on the Colosseum Court. Wildcard Tom Gentzsch faces Australia’s Rinky Hijikata, while fellow wildcard Diego Dedura takes on James Duckworth in his bid to reach the second round. That match is scheduled for not before 4 pm.
With matches taking place on three courts and a packed schedule featuring numerous exciting encounters, fans can look forward to a full and entertaining day of tennis at the Weissenhof.
