Pre-order now: waterdrop® x BOSS OPEN Bottles
Sustainability is a key priority at the BOSS OPEN. That is why the partnership with the hydration company waterdrop®, which has been in place since 2023, has been extended; the company will continue to serve as a premium partner of the ATP tennis tournament at Stuttgart’s Weissenhof. The BOSS OPEN will remain plastic-bottle-free in 2026 as well. Stainless steel and aluminium water bottles, as well as sports and cycling bottles, are permitted – you can refill these with water free of charge on site. Plastic and glass bottles are not permitted and must be disposed of before entering the venue.
With the contract extension for waterdrop® as ‘Official Hydration Partner’, Stuttgart is continuing the successful path it embarked upon three years ago, which led to the BOSS OPEN becoming the first tournament on the ATP Tour to completely do away with plastic bottles. This has also highlighted entirely new possibilities for how fluid supply at a professional tennis tournament can be managed in a sustainable and resource-efficient manner.
Once again this year, the BOSS OPEN will feature innovative players’ benches with an integrated drinks service. In addition, waterdrop® will not only provide the tennis stars with customised water bottles, but will also supply visitors with free drinking water at the Weissenhof. waterdrop® water bottles will also be available for purchase on the tournament grounds. With Alexander Bublik from Kazakhstan and Yannick Hanfmann from Germany, two players supported by waterdrop® will also be competing in Stuttgart.
