Taylor Fritz will play the BOSS OPEN as US Open finalist
By reaching the final of the US Open in New York, BOSS brand ambassador Taylor Fritz has shown that he is ready for the big titles. German tennis fans will also be able to see the 26-year-old's class for themselves as Fritz, along with local hero Alexander Zverev and charismatic Australian Nick Kyrgios, will be playing at the BOSS OPEN from June 7 to 15, 2025.
At the end of June, Taylor Fritz triumphed at the grass court tournament in Eastbourne for the third time after 2019 and 2022. Fritz followed up his eighth title on the ATP Tour with a quarter-final at Wimbledon before winning the bronze medal in the doubles competition at the Olympic Games in Paris alongside his US compatriot Tommy Paul. By reaching the final at the last Grand Slam tournament of the year in New York, the current US tennis‘ number one catapulted himself from number 12 to number 7 in the world rankings.
Zverev and Kyrgios also bring experience from major finals to Stuttgart
Taylor Fritz will not be the only top star at the BOSS OPEN next year who already has a Grand Slam final under his belt. German local hero Alexander Zverev (US Open 2020, French Open 2024) and Australian Nick Kyrgios (Wimbledon 2022), who is working on his comeback, have also confirmed their participation in Stuttgart and will bring Grand Slam finals experience to the Weissenhof.
“We are delighted that the field of participants at the BOSS OPEN 2025 can already boast two top ten stars at such an early stage with Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz. In addition, Nick Kyrgios is a player with rough edges who amazes lots of tennis fans. The commitments of this world-class trio guarantee a top-class and spectacular tournament next year,” emphasizes Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer.
