Qualification kicks off BOSS OPEN

On Saturday, the first round of the qualification for the BOSS OPEN is scheduled. Among the hopefuls to make it through to the main draw are also four Germans. Fans can enjoy free entry on this day.

The action kicks off at 11 am on Court 1, which has been re-christened “Colosseum”, when Max Hans Rehberg (ATP no. 427) takes on Altug Celikbilek (ATP 212) from Turkey. This match is followed by Frenchman Hugo Gaston (ATP 109) against Moldavian Radu Albot (ATP 113). In the third match, wildcard player Mats Rosenkranz (ATP 498) will challenge Croatian Borna Gojo (ATP 104), while local hero Henri Squire (ATP 308) will take on Japan’s Yosuke Watanuki (ATP 126) for a spot in the next round.

Some well-known names can also be watched on Match Court 2, amongst them Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (ATP 83), the former no. 31 in the world, who will face the fourth and final German, Louis Wessels (ATP 323).

The qualification will be concluded on Sunday with the second and final round. The main draw kicks off on Monday.
