Sponsor pool expanded with strong partners
The organizers of the BOSS OPEN have also achieved success on the economic front. Three new premium partners have joined the ranks: the Tyrolean tourist destination Ischgl, ecotransgroup GmbH, and Red Bull. In addition, bett1.de GmbH and Lavazza have been added as Gold Partners to the sponsor pool.
The cooperation with Ischgl has been agreed upon for three years and combines alpine lifestyle with world-class grass court tennis. A key focus is the presence of the Tyrolean resort in the “Activity Area” on the tournament grounds, along with an “Ischgl Night” on Thursday, June 12. This event is one of the many highlights of this year’s BOSS OPEN.
The ATP tournament kicks off on Saturday, June 7, with the qualification rounds. A full program awaits visitors all the way to the singles and doubles finals on Sunday, June 15. Special guests expected include three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Becker and football world champion Lothar Matthäus.
Several updates are planned for this year at the venue on Parlerstraße. The entrance area will be redesigned to be more spacious, and artificial turf will replace the carpet previously used on the tournament grounds. Gates open daily at 10:00 a.m., with match action starting at 11:00 a.m. Exceptions include Semifinal Saturday (June 14), when play begins at 12:00 p.m., and Final Sunday (June 15), with matches starting at 11:30 a.m.
On Qualifying Saturday (June 7), visitors can enjoy eight matches and the main draw ceremony directly on-site — all with free entry! On Sunday, June 8, the decisive four qualification matches will determine who claims the final spots in the 28-player main draw. In addition, popular show training sessions will take place on Centre Court!
From Sunday to Tuesday, KidsDays will offer a fun-filled program for the tournament’s youngest visitors! There will be plenty of interactive activities such as a children’s press conference and prize giveaways. On a mini-court, tennis stars will hit a few balls with the kids and be available for autographs and selfies.
Wednesday, June 11, is Sustainability Day, with a special focus on sustainability in terms of ecology, economy, and social responsibility. On this day, as in previous years, clubs from the regional tennis association that have made a strong impact in line with the N!-Charta Sport will be honored, in cooperation with the WTB and the state of Baden-Württemberg.
As part of the Stuttgart tournament’s sustainability strategy, focus areas also include climate protection, partnerships, health, education, inequalities, and inclusion. Also on June 11, wheelchair and visually impaired tennis players will take to the court in cooperation with TC Ditzingen and MTV Stuttgart 1843 e.V., under the guidance of Wimbledon Head Coach Dan Bloxham and tournament ambassador Michael Berrer.
On Friday, June 13, the BOSS OPEN enters its decisive phase with the quarterfinal matches. On Saturday morning, June 14, the traditional ProAm tournament will take place, featuring many celebrities — including confirmed participant Lothar Matthäus. The grand finale will be held on Sunday, June 15, with the doubles final starting at 11:30 a.m. and the singles final not before 2:00 p.m.
