There will already be a German duel in the first round, as Oscar Otte and Daniel Altmaier meet. Superstars Tsitsipas and Berrettini with bye in the first round.
On Saturday, Stuttgart’s Weissenhof was the stage for the draw of the BOSS OPEN’s main draw. Two Germans will already crash in the first round, as Oscar Otte and Daniel Altmaier weren’t only drawn into the lower table but also against each other in the first round. The third German, Jan-Lennard Struff, will face Marcos Giron from the US to kick things off.
In the upper half of the table, three times Grand Slam champion Andy Murray (GBR) will meet a yet to be determined qualifier. Fan favorite Nick Kyrgios (AUS) received Czech Jiri Lehecka as his first opponent. The four top seeded players enjoy a bye in the first round: Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE/1), Matteo Berrettini (ITA/2), Hubert Hurkacz (POL/3) and Denis Shapovalov (CAN/4) will thus enter the competition in the second round.
The main draw will commence on Monday, 6th June on the premises of the TC Weissenhof. On Sunday the second round of the qualification will determine the final four participants in the main draw.
