Illness stops Jan-Lennard Struff in Stuttgart

Jan-Lennard Struff was unable to play his quarter-final match against Brandon Nakashima at the BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart on Friday due to illness. As a result, the US-American entered the semi final round.

Last year's finalist Struff was also in brilliant form this year at the Stuttgart Weissenhof and did not drop a set in the first two rounds against Italian Flavio Cobolli and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech. "It's a great pity that Jan-Lennard Struff can't continue the tournament due to illness. We wish him a speedy recovery and every success for the rest of the season," said Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer.
