Main draw of the BOSS OPEN kicks off

The BOSS OPEN 2025 kick off on Monday with a sporting highlight for all German tennis fans: local hero Jan-Lennard Struff will be entering the fray as a wild card holder and will face Italian Matteo Arnaldi on Center Court at 3 p.m.

Struff, who is particularly motivated on his home turf in Stuttgart, wants to use the support of the fans at the Weissenhof Tennis Club to get off to a successful start in the tournament. “It's just great to play in Germany. There's always a lot going on here,” explained the Stuttgart “regular” last year.

The day will kick off on Center Court at 11 a.m. with the match between France's Benjamin Bonzi and the Czech Republic's Jiri Lehecka, seeded number 8, followed by Jacob Fearnley (GBR) against Brandon Nakashima (6/USA). The day will conclude with the match between Roman Safiullin and France's Giovanni Mpethsi Perricard.

Fans can look forward to intense doubles action on the Colosseum Court, where the first match will start at 2 p.m.

Hanfmann qualifies

Yannick Hanfmann is the only one of four Germans to have made it through the qualification rounds and into the main draw of the BOSS OPEN. The 33-year-old from Karlsruhe defeated American Tristan Boyer 7-6 (12), 6-4 in the final qualifying round on Sunday. Other qualifiers for the main draw are Australian James Duckworth, Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert, and Hungarian Marton Fucsovics.
