The Top 4 will play on Wednesday and Thursday

The top four players on the entry list will receive a first-round bye at the BOSS OPEN. As things currently stand, those players are Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Lorenzo Musetti, and Tommy Paul. They will enter the singles competition starting from the round of 16, which begins on Wednesday of the tournament week (June 11). Two of these stars will play on Wednesday, and the other two on Thursday.

“This year, we are thrilled to welcome an absolutely top-class field to the BOSS OPEN, which guarantees spectacular grass-court tennis,” said Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer.
“From the very first serve in the qualification rounds to the final point in the championship match, we expect exciting and entertaining matches. With six stars from the Top 16, big names like Matteo Berrettini, Nick Kyrgios, and Gael Monfils, as well as top young talents like Joao Fonseca, we’re offering spectators a perfect blend of playing styles and tennis generations,” Weindorfer added.

Former world No. 42 and tournament ambassador Michael Berrer agrees:
“This year’s lineup reflects the positive development of the BOSS OPEN. The tournament continues to take steps forward with various innovations, and the players are taking notice. The perfect condition of Stuttgart’s grass courts, the fantastic atmosphere at the TC Weissenhof venue, and many other small details—word about all this is spreading on tour, and it results in a stellar field like the one we have this year,” said Berrer.
