Stuttgart’s Weissenhof is now called BOSS OPEN

A new chapter is about to begin! The introduction of the HUGO BOSS AG as title sponsor presents the tennis highlight at Stuttgart’s Weissenhof not only in a new style, but also gives it a new name too - BOSS OPEN. The co-operation between the organizing e|motion group and the internationally successful fashion company runs through 2025.

The ATP grass court tournament on the premises of the TC Weissenhof in Stuttgart is called BOSS OPEN from now on. The e|motion group as organizer and the HUGO BOSS AG have come to terms regarding a co-operation until 2025, which will already begin with this year’s tournament form June, 4th-12th.

“We are very happy, that we were able to partner with such a successful company of world-wide reputation as title sponsor for the tournament in Stuttgart. The timing could not have been better regarding the brand renewal and the new direction of BOSS. Thus, we are very proud to perfectly stage the brand at our ATP tournament in Stuttgart”, explains tournament director Edwin Weindorfer.

“Boss is looking back on a long tradition in sports sponsoring and I am very happy, that we are able to make our comeback on the tennis court with the legendary Weissenhof tournament in Stuttgart. The BOSS OPEN will be an important date on the tennis calendar with exceptional players, bringing the right attitude and energy to be successful. As a first present, BOSS will bring its brand ambassador Matteo Berrettini to this year’s BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart. The Italian is currently ranked no. 10 in the world, heading the entry list of the grass court tournament (769,645 Euro total financial commitment), followed by Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz (ATP no. 13) and Canadian Denis Shapovalov (ATP no. 15).

Furthermore, linesmen, ball kinds and tournament staff will be equipped with BOSS outfits. The sponsoring underlines the company’s commitment for its home region, with its headquarters located in Metzingen, thus expressing the new identity of the brand BOSS right in the heart of Stuttgart.
