The American defeated local hero Jan-Lennard Struff 4-6, 7-6 (1), 7-6 (8) in the final of his first ever tournament in Germany.

Frances Tiafoe and Jan-Lennard Struff will compete for the title at the BOSS OPEN 2023

Frances Tiafoe (USA/3), Marton Fucsovics (HUN/Q), Hubert Hurkacz (POL/4) and Jan-Lennard Struff (GER) will battle it out in the semifinals on Saturday for a spot in the grand final.

In addition to the German, tournament number 2 Taylor Fritz (USA) and veteran Richard Gasquet also made it to the last eight with his 600th match victory.

On the first day of the second round of the BOSS OPEN, the favorites prevailed. Only the Italian Sonego stumbled.

On Thursday, the BOSS OPEN at Stuttgart's Weissenhof will have lots of star power on display.

But it was the end of the line for Otte and Altmaier. Kyrgios was also eliminated.

On Wednesday the first matches of the second round are scheduled at the BOSS OPEN.
